How to Install a Solar Powered LED

  1. The solar cell is inserted at the top of the bell-box inside the blue lens using one of the pads provided(Must be exposed to sunlight to maintain charge in batteries

  2. The battery pack is held in place by one of the pads supplied

  3. The flashing led circuit board is inserted on the bottom of the bell-box inside the transparent lens, with the solar LED's pointing downwards, secured with the pads provided

Best Practice

The best postion for mounting the Solar LED & Bell-box is on a wall that is exposed to sunlight for some part of the day

​

Avoid placing the Solar LED & Bell-box under a ledge or too close to the eaves of the house. ideally fit the top of the alarm box at least 12 inches(30cm) below the eaves of the roof

​

Do not place in areas that are shaded by trees or other buildings
